Pastor Lizzy has served faithfully alongside her husband, Tyler, for over 20 years—partnering in ministry, mission, and life. Five months after their wedding, Lizzy and Tyler were sent to South Africa as missionaries, where they served as teachers and pastors for four years. From there, they moved into Botswana to help relaunch the Foursquare Church, plant a new congregation, and provide Bible college training. It was in Botswana that their first three children, Joshua, Anika, and Tinneke, were welcomed into their family. In 2012, the Jorgensens returned to Canada. During this time, Tyler faced a life-changing cancer diagnosis. Lizzy stood faithfully by his side as he served as Associate Pastor and began graduate studies. In a powerful testimony to God’s faithfulness, Tyler was miraculously healed. Afterward, they moved to Kimberley, where Lizzy continued to minister while serving as the National Missions Coordinator for Foursquare Canada. During this season, their fourth child, Caleb, was born. In 2024, God led Lizzy and Tyler to Nanaimo to take the next step of leadership at Harvest Church. Today, Lizzy serves as Lead Pastor of Harvest Church. She leads and cares for her church family with a heart full of compassion. She loves Starbucks coffee, diving into her master’s textbooks, and walking with others as they grow in Jesus. Pastor Lizzy’s passion is to see people encounter Jesus, grow in faith, and find authentic community.
