This Sunday, we’ll be looking at Malachi 3–4 and Luke 1 as we explore God’s faithful rescue plan. Though the people of Israel repeatedly turned away from God, He didn’t give up on them. Instead, He promised a coming Messiah—and before Him, a messenger who would prepare the way. That messenger was John the Baptist, calling people to repentance and pointing them toward hope. This week, we will consider how God’s plan has always been in motion and ask: Are we living as messengers of hope, making room for others to encounter Jesus, forgiveness, and freedom? If it starts with us, what’s our next step?
